Today was a good day. Today class we talked about the world. We talked more and more about the different things that happen along the world. We talked about the different types of population looks. We talked about the cup, tree, and box. They all look completely diffrent and show all about a countrys population.

Oct 30th

Today I didn't have class but it was a long day. I had Spanish first and it was pretty good we had a sub because our teacher was out. I had to do a lot of make up work today and turn stuff in. We have English and went over many many things. Then the day went on as normal. I had lacrosse then I left. All in all it was a good day today.

Oct 29th

Today was a pretty good day. My day started off with biology. I didn't have really any work until human geo. Today we talked about many important things in the world. We also talked about our grades and how we can help them. After that I had a pretty chill and relaxing day. we got out early and the day seemed pretty well. Also it was my birthday and it was ok.

Oct 26th

Today in class we took notes on the cia. I went on the website and saw many many cool things. Their is many many articles all about different countries and places in the world. I've found out that if one country is almost last on one chart another chart they could be one of the top. I learned many thing such as some countries only have 54 people for the lowest one. I learned about each rates and birth rates that I thought was pretty interesting.

Oct 25th

Todays class was good. We talked and went over everything today. We went over our tests and answers and I was pretty happy about mine but I think I could have done better. I feel like I could have took my time more. Also today I turned in a lot of makeup work in classes and my grades in just about every class are very good.

oct 24th

Today I didn't have class and I was hoping I did. I was very interested on the last class. But today I had a test in bible and my grade went up. Also my grade went up in English which I am very proud of myself for. All in all today was a good day and I am proud that my grades are going up.

oct 23rd

Today in class we talked about many things. We talked about more in depth of the worlds population. We brought up that girls live much much longer then men in the average. We backed this up by saying many boys are more reckless and do more life threatening things than girls on average. Also many men in most countries fight in wars and not very many woman. I found this very amusing and am waiting for tomorrows class.

oct 22nd

Today in human geo we had a pretty good talk. Today we started a new unit. Today we worked and talk about human population. Their are about 7.4 billion people in the world and more and more are coming. I never really thought that their were that many in the world but obviously i'm wrong.

oct 19th

Today we took our test in class. I think I did pretty well but I don't understand how I got a 67 on the test. All of the questions were really easy. I think the machine is messed up because I dont know how I got 10 questions wrong. Other than that it was easy. Then the rest of the class I just finished my work from English.

oct 18th

Today I didnt have class but it was a long day. I had a test in English that I think I did pretty good in but I don't know. I was on pronouns and nouns. I also had a quiz in bible today that was open note but I think I did pretty good on also. In all of my other classes it was a normal sit down and write notes and do work day. But tonight I am studying for the test tomorrow in human geo and I have idea about what to expect for it.

Oct 17th

In today's class we reviewed for the the test on Friday. We did all of the questions with Mr. Schick in class today. We got out at 2:15. The class was only 50 minutes today. We labeled maps of major places and what their time zones were. At first I got confused on how to do that but after a while I understood all you have to do is look at that map and find the hour difference. Then you either add to whatever time is given and then you get your answer. It sounds a bit confusing but after you do a few examples you would understand it. I am ready for the test and ready for Friday.

Today in class a lot of things happened. First off I started the class by myself and then I got a surprise shadow. I got called up to my get my shadow. His name was mason and he went to saint margrits. during class it was pretty calm we just learned about different regions and how they affect people when something bad happens. How the money their can be spent different and the laws can change. all In all it was a cool and learning class.

oct 12th

Today I didn't have class but it was a good day overall. We went outside for bio today and planted plants. I took a test in bible and got a 75. I had 3 tests today and I think I did pretty decent on all of them but I dont know if they will all be great. I left early because had the dentist and I kind of wanted to have human geo today because it is fun.

oct 11th

Today we talked more about maps. We talked about global warming and the changes of the world. We learned that huge ice blocks where breaking and going into the ocean and melting. This is happening because all of the pollutants in the air from factories disposing it into the air. We found out that in the year 2030 we wouldn't be able to change it and would have to live with it until the end. So many scientists are encouraging us to change but the money costs for this is a lot that is why the government doesn't want to.

oct 10th

Today we had our PSAT's. We I got into school at around 8:30 and we started testing at around 9. we did math and English sections. Maths was fairly easy and so was english's but it just got annoying. We had to read like 5 shorts stories and they had way to many questions that made absolutely no sense. We finished at around 12 and we got out at the same time. Me and all my friends all walked to Italian sensations and ate then we walked back to school. We shot around with our lacrosse sticks for about 30 minutes then we all went back inside and did a full court basketball game.

Today in class we learned culture is the body of customary beliefs materials traits, and they social forms that together constitute the distinct tradition of a group of people. We also found out today that

Mr. Schick has two dogs. We found out he has a dog named Stanley and I forget the other ones name but it was in the hospital but its ok now. He told us how he got the dog. He said his wife saw it get hit and she took it to the vet and in the end she just took it home with her. 

oct 5th

today in class we went over multiple things such as regions and places own earth. we worked and took notes about different places in china all speak Chinese but they have different versions of it. we also talked more about the prime meridian and the equators. all in all today was a fun class and more laid back then normal.

Oct 4th

Today I didn't have Human Geo but I want to write anyway. Today was color day and all the freshman had to wear white. The school day was pretty easy because we got out an hour early for the powderpuff game. I want the juniors to win cause I know a lot more people then seniors. The school day though seem pretty laid back and we didn't have to do that much work. in all today was a good day and It was THURSDAY.

oct 3rd

Today in class we talked about our location. We we talked about how different places natives have different accents. My cousin lives in California but born in Maryland and everyone says she has a "Eastern accent". I think this is funny because she talks exactly like me and my family, and I don't think of us as country people at all. When I think accents i think of Texas and Kentucky. I wonder if people in England think that we have American accents the would be fun to find out. Also I wonder why some words mean different things in different parts of the country let alone world.

Oct 2nd

Today in class I wasn't their today. Today I missed class because I had doctors appointment. I got my arm checked out because I hurt it during a football game. I missed English and human geo today and I heard we didn't do that many things in both. When I checked the blog for what we did today nothing was on there. That is why I am writing about why I missed it. The doctor told me I had a torn librium and was most likely going to be out of sports for a couple of weeks. The rest of my day turned out pretty fine. I got my first test back today and got a 80 percent which isn't bad but I know I can do better.

maps in class

todays class was easy as I was told. I know maps all have seven continents and five oceans. Greenland is fourteen times smaller then Africa in actual life but Europes map is shows in as about a third of its size. there are lines of longitude and latitude on every map to show a exact location. I feel the longitude and latitude test might be hard for me because most of it doesn't make that much sense to me and I feel as if I might mix some up. that was what I did and learned today in class.
